LEADERSHIP: HAVE YOU BEEN A CLASS LEADER SOMETIME?
To all the schooling students out there, do you wish to any day get that ‘in demand’ position of a class leader and set an example for leadership?
And to all the passed – out ones, does that desire still strike you every once in a while?
Falling in one of the two mentioned categories doesn’t simply imply that you lack leadership.
Leadership isn’t school – bound. It can never be. I believe each and every one of us have some unique qualities that can make us stand different from other leaders. Now, accessing those hidden traits can be something that only few take up as a priority.
WHERE TO START FROM…
Leadership is nothing but a self – built passion that strengthens you to make decisions in the benefit of your people. It is about one’s team work that involves guiding your fellow mates while granting them the same position as yours, and not ruling them.
So, the perfect start to leadership is to mentor yourself. As a student, you should never feel hesitant to get proper guidance from your elders, if and when needed.
There is always an idol who comes first to our mind whenever we think of acing a specific field. Following that, many Indian leaders have set benchmarks in leading huge groups during wars or international conferences.
Students often tend to seek the profits the leadership tags carry along with them. But they miss out on developing their personality for the same. Growth is the first step towards success. It is never too hard to achieve something you have been dreaming for. All it requires is one’s integrity and passion for showing proper way to others while maintaining one’s position.
Selflessly helping others is another step towards being a true leader.
Therefore, the golden rule to being a great leader is:
BELIEVE IN YOUR TEAM, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!
